Connie Dekker, artist, lives and works in Amsterdam. She specializes in installation using mixed media as embroidery, performance, photography and video. In her embroidery she works on themes of waiting and absence. A series of performances on embroidery were staged and exhibited in Italy. Dekker uses photography and film to document her performances and to capture her environment.
