In my latest series of drawings, titled “Into the Trees,” I depict weathered trees and the creatures who call them home. These trees are large and gnarled, bearing the marks of time.
This series tells a story about nature, where the trees are not merely a backdrop but play a crucial role in shaping the narratives of the characters living within them.
The trees themselves are the last remnants of a world slipping from our grasp, where human lives might fade into memory, and the fairy-tale figures we thought forgotten return.
From the depths of our dreams, they re-emerge—waking once more in the hollows of these timeworn trees, ready to share their stories with those who dare to listen.
Are you at home?
